Goliath

To see a 40 tonne whale exploding from the ocean, doing a half twist, a disappearing in a mountain of white water, takes your breath away.

This picture of wildness and sheer power puts things in their right perspective .We are not the biggest creatures around and we do not sit in the centre of the universe. When confronted with parts of creation that take our breath away , we need to be aware that they point to the existence of an invisible untamable creative God.

A Taste of Paradise

To stand on the peaceful place behind the beach is good for the soul. The sounds of the ocean, the sun and wind on your face, and the views across the emerald water provide a taste of paradise. It is here that you can sense the wonder of a creative and caring God who is on our side to guide and nurture us.

I Love You

Trying to understand and relate to an invisible God is difficult and confusing, but we have not been left in the dark. The amazing claim of Easter is that in the person of Jesus, the God of this universe is fully expressed. Through His life Jesus put flesh on the meaning of God and gave love a name. In His death we witness a God who is willing to lay down His life for you and me no matter what condition our soul is in. In Jesus we are fully accepted and embraced by the love of God for eternity. It gets as personal as that.

Different thoughts bubbling inside your head start swirling painting a kaleidescope scene in your mind's eye....? A pink cloud stripped with the colors of the rainbow under a blank velvety sky unwary of how others are doin' at the moment.... The Absolute
