Broken without (You)

"Sing to the Lord a new song;sing to the Lord, all the earth." - Psalm 96:1

Verse I:
Pearl-shaped tears rolling down my face
Sinking deep on this steadfast pain
Bits and pieces of this colourful surface
A heart of stone cannot be broken

Refrain:
Listen to what I'm not saying
Hear inside of me
Wanting to be whole
Longing for more of You

Chorus:
I'm nothing without You (You mend the brokenness in me)
I'm a mess without You (You turn my mess into a message )
I'm a sinner without You Lord
I'm broken without broken without
Without You

Verse II:
Hopeless and lost but now I'm found
Sinner changed by redeeming grace
Shaped by love that beats compassion
Restored in Your hands forever

Bridge:
As my heart grows faint
As my heart grows weary
I will never be shaken never be moved
for You are the Rock on which I stand

Outro:
Without You Lord
Without You
Without You Lord
I'm broken

Faith Goals 2015

Yey it's my third time doing my faith goals. And I'm so overwhelmed that by God's grace half of my faith goals have been accomplished yearly.
Before I don't believe setting up faith goals every year, coz for me it's like a dream, a wish or just a new year's resolution that will last only for a month. But No! I just came to know that faith goals, are statement of faith! it's believing that God always operates in our life by faith. Living by faith and not by sight. It's accomplishing something in a definite time. It keeps me going, gives me drive and strongly pressing on towards the prize.

'I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.' - Philippians 3:14

Taken from Rick Warren's insight are the five charateristics of a 'FAITH' Goals:

1. Focused
2. Attainable
3. Individual
4. Track able
5. Heartfelt

Below are my list of 'FAITH Goals' for 2015:

1. By faith, fully paid our house and lot in the Philippines.
2. By faith, read three chapters per day (Bible).
3. By faith, get a New and Stable job.
4. By faith, travel to Australia.
5. By faith, have a DSLR camera.
6. By faith, compose a Christian song.
7. By faith, learn to cook Filipino dishes.
8. By faith, give my family a one special travel.
9. By faith, exercise at least once a week (jogging, swimming, badminton)
10. By faith, consistent reach-out to my family and others.

'Steady Heart'

Time flies so fast. 2014 has just ended with flying colors. Well I thank God for this time, was able to start this year to update my blog. Been so busy for the past few months with so many things. But I knew that God keeps on reminding me of this post.

2014 was really a year of God's favor for me, so many opportunities, blessings and provisions. Yes there are some ups and down, hardships and perseverance but God never fails in fulfilling His promises. I couldn't ask for more, God knows the desires of my heart even before I spoke it!

That's why trusting HIM really gives me security. Well other than the favors, the latter part of last year was a season of waiting as well. Ending the year 2014 with a message from the LORD a 'STEADY HEART'.

At first I don't know what He really meant with that..but would have to admit that I really struggle with it. At times you have this feeling of uncertainties, what lies ahead, how to start, what to do next..etc. Need a divine wisdom! But Jesus holds our future! All things are bind through Him and for Him. He knows what's best for me. Though I've been through a lot of struggles last year, but Jesus is more than enough! and I always go back to Him realizing that He is all I need, seeking Him and pray. It gives me a clearer vision of His plans for me. I have my own plans but I trust His plan more than mine.

And so when He meant of a STEADY HEART, He is asking me to trust Him more, wait on HIS timing, be STILL and quiet my soul then wisdom follows. Amazing! God is so alive. I would always be secured in Him, finishing 2014 strong and facing 2015 with full of excitement. Yey! thank you Jesus!

Below are the words from God I have received while I'm on this season.

"Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me." - John 14:1

"God has something better for you. You just have to wait."

"Steady heart that keeps on going
Steady love that keeps on holding
 Lead me on"

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11
