What would Jesus do?

In this world full of troubles, it's really hard to follow what we think Jesus would do in every situation we are in right? Even if you called yourself a 'TRUE' Christian, do you think all of your actions are what Jesus will do? Say in some simple ways, do you think Jesus would love to have a face book account? Or would go on movie marathon? Watch televisions everyday; go on shopping, malling etc.? Isn't it a worldly pattern? Come to think of it...

A reminder for all of us...esp. Christians because we called ourselves Christians then we should have a Christ-LIKENESS attitude right? Well it's an everyday process, it's not an instant thingy I guess, it takes prayers and the word of God. We have been tested through situations that we should be sensitive enough to hear God's voice. Different Christians, different manifestations, some are showy in their faith but some are not, but I believe no one can judge one's faith in Christ or his/her relationship with  Him regardless of their religion or sector, regardless of their beliefs and regardless of their life's manifestation, it's because only God can knows what's really inside of our hearts so be careful in interpret ting other's actions/beliefs :-)

Well a sad fact that many Christians were living in the expectations of others. If Jesus were in your situations, do you think He will do the same thing you did? Or do you think He will do what you are going to do? If you trap in situations that you don't know what you are going to do or what you are going to say? Then think of what will Jesus do/say at that moment. Stand firm in the Lord. Are you standing for God? Or are you standing for other people? Are you protecting God’s testimony or you’re protecting others? Are you pleasing Him or MEN? Self-evaluation :-) The bible says: ‘For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.’ – Luke 9:24.

Many Christians tend to compromise their faith, we know what's the right thing to do before God and what's pleasing in Him but we tend not to, because we are so much careful of the expectations of the others and sometimes we just ignore the situation a play safe escape.

Well I just only proved that it's not easy to imitate Christ, it’s not easy to follow His ways, there are RISKS in shaping into Christ likeness, it’s an everyday battle to do or not to do because so many persecutions, some will hate you and some will leave you. Jesus persecuted in His own town, many didn't believe in Him, Judas one of His disciples betrayed Him, and Peter denied Him and the door of heaven closes Him when the sin of the world was on Him. Some says we are only humans we commit mistakes, yes I understand that and we commit sin? yes I do still commit sins, whether a simple or greater sin it is still a sin but God has given us the authority over these things, the question is Are you ‘really’ willing to do what will Jesus do? I believe if we have the desires in our hearts then we can, no matter how hard it is, would always be depend on our willingness...an issue of the heart isn't it? First things first, God would have to work IN us before He can work THROUGH us, correcting our hearts desires and attitudes and of course most importantly, if we want to follow Jesus, constant prayers and meditating on His word. Through these we grow in the knowledge of Christ, understanding Him deeply, (in a worldly view if you want to be someone else then you have to know everything about him/her right?) Then those know ledges/understandings about Christ will give us convictions to do what we have learned and so tendency is to obey God, not a selective obedience but complete obedience, no reservations but boldness before Him. We are no longer baby Christians or infants and so we should know these things already as we continue to grow in Him. Several times Paul reiterates these things in the bible:

‘14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.’ – Ephesians 4:14-16.
‘17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. 18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.’ – 2 Peter 3:17-18.

How about you, are you willing to do what would Jesus do? Are you willing to follow Him?
